4. Description: The requirement is for the provision of a common, interoperable, accessible and deployable software enabler(s) for simulation-based activity across Defence for the application of decision support, research and development, training, operations planning and rehearsal; and experimentation. The solution needs to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) and licensed at an unlimited enterprise level, allowing for unrestricted use and distribution by the MoD to enable further development opportunities. In addition, it will need to be interoperable with extant and future simulations through the use of open standards including but not limited to Defence Modelling and Simulation Coherence (DMaSC) & Common Image Generator Interface(CIGI). This requirement is for an initial 5 year duration with options to extend for further 3 x 1-years.
