IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) contract renewal
This Managed Service Provider (MSP) will be responsible for the following elements, but are not limited to:
• storage administration – manage and maintain SAN(s) and provide all reporting for CIÉ to improve performance and efficiency.
• backup management – operate backup and restoration (DR) services for the CIÉ estate.
• standard operations – daily/weekly/monthly checks on in scope systems, reaction to alerts on estate and corrective actions. Full Server Management and related services.
• server/client patch management – manage and patch CIÉ estate as per patch releases by vendors.
• WAN and LAN Operations – provide 24/7 Network Management, monitoring and operations of the network including core DC network and management of 3rd party suppliers (MPLS/Internet).
• site support services across CIÉ Sites where required – provide break fix/warranty servicing on IT Equipment located within CIÉ sites or Data Centres.
• monitoring services – proactive monitoring of the CIÉ estate to support the SLAs. 24/7 online access to as near to real time monitoring dashboards that integrate with other monitoring tools in the CIÉ estate.
• reporting services – RCA (root cause analysis) reporting, operational and service reporting to facilitate the governance on the account and technical and security reporting for stakeholders.
• security administration – operate firewall and anti-virus and associated end point security technologies across the CIÉ estate.
• security services — 24/7 security monitoring and Incident Response (Anti-Virus, Firewall, Vulnerability Management, SIEM).
