The government is looking for companies that can carry out and manage seabed deepening dredging.
The work is wanted by Porto de Itaqui, one of the most important ports in the northeast region of Brazil.
The port:
is strong in the export of solid bulk
is considered a major national hub for importing liquid bulk (receiving, storing and distributing)
has several berth recovery projects, construction of new terminals, improvements of the port as a whole
The work has been issued in 2 lots:
Lot 1 is for to provide seabed deepening dredging
Lot 2 is for management of the deepening work
The estimated maximum amount to bid for this work is BRL 72,178,211
Of which:
Lot 1 is for BRL 70,888,147
Lot 2 is for BRL 1,290,064
The lowest bid will win the contract. The contact will be awarded on 23 July.
