II.1.4) Short Description:
Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed the loan agreement in amount of EUR 340 million with the European Investment Bank-EIB to finance the construction of priority sections of the motorway on the route of Pan European Corridor Vc through Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (‘the Beneficiary’) intends to apply the proceeds of the loan and expected WBIF grant amount toward the cost of civil works and consultancy services to be procured for the sections of motorway from Medakovo to Poprikuše in total length of 34.5 km.
This prior information notice refers on procurement of works and consultancy services for supervision of works for subsections Medakovo-Ozimice and Ozimice-Poprikuše, and consultancy services for technical assistance to PIU for Medakovo -Poprikuše section.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The proposed project will require the procurement of the following works and services:
• works on construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, subsection Medakovo-Ozimice;
• works on construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, subsection Ozimice-Poprikuše;
• consultancy services for supervision of the works for construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, subsection Medakovo-Ozimice;
• consultancy services for supervision of the works for construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, subsection Ozimice-Poprikuše;
• consultancy services for technical assistance to the Project implementation Unit (PIU) of PC Motorways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for construction of motorway on Corridor Vc, section Poprikuše-Medakovo.
Contract to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the European Investment Bank and expected WBIF grant will be subject to the Bank’s Guide to Procurement and will be open to firms from any country. Pursuant to its Sanctions Policy, the Bank shall not provide finance, directly or indirectly, to or for the benefit of an individual or entity that is subject to financial sanctions imposed by the EU, either autonomously or pursuant to the financial sanctions decided by the United Nations Security Council on the basis of article 41 of the UN Charter.
