An airport operator is looking for companies to pre-qualify for a building and infrastructure works contract.
The contract includes construction of a Third Runway Concourse (TRC) building with:
a glazed facade system,
a profiled metal roof system
high quality internal finishes and fittings
electrical, mechanical and airport systems
You will also need to build:
27 fixed link bridges and aircraft loading bridges
over 50 aircraft parking stands, taxi lanes and other apron and airfield systems
2 taxiways
associated infrastructure works
a new air traffic control tower and accommodation facilities within the TRC area and on the apron
The contract is for 4 years.
The foundations work for the concourse, bridges and control tower will be carried out by other companies under a separate contract.
