The Ministry of Defence is looking to award a 5-year contract for an Assault Rifle In-line Low Light Sight. The project covers the procurement of fused weapon mounted in line sight Night Vision Systems (NVS) with a capability that enables the dismounted close combat assault rifle operator to acquire and engage targets in low and zero light conditions, commensurate with the daylight performance of the current in-service weapon system and day sight. Included in the procurement will be a support package on an ad-hoc basis.
