II.1.4) Short Description: The UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) Saudi Arabian National Guard Communications Project Team (SANGCOM) supports Her Majesty’s Government commitment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) by acquiring and supporting modern C4I capabilities for the Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG). The team performs a range of equipment procurement and support functions on behalf of the SANG.
The SANGCOM team has offices across KSA and in the UK. Resource may be needed at any of these locations, or remotely within KSA or the UK. SANGCOM will be seeking to contract under UK law while recognising that in order to be effective in delivering the requirement, the successful bidder will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to operate successfully in Saudi Arabia with access to an appropriate commercial licence to operate. Companies should note the need to meet the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030 and UK International Defence Engagement objectives.

There is no commitment on the part of the Authority to enter into any binding contractual arrangement following engagement with potential suppliers through the Industry Event. Neither attendance at the Industry Event nor submission of responses to the Authority will be taken into consideration in any future tendering process.

Parties should be aware that in order to ensure equal treatment and transparency, questions and answers relating to this PIN as well as information shared at the Industry Event may be published to all interested parties.

Companies wishing to attend are encouraged to begin the visa application process as early as possible as the application process may be elongated during Ramadan and Eid. SANGCOM is unable to provide sponsorship for visas.
