The Awarding Authority wishes to procure a new intranet built on SharePoint 2013 Foundation. The key objectives of this project are to create a site which: Drives knowledge management, planning and collaboration within the Specified Location. Presents information of value to Police Ombudsman staff in a way which is easy to navigate and search. Encourages staff to share information and contribute new material. Allows users to easily post links to items held in HP Records Manager 8.3 (HPRM), and when doing so to select suitable metadata to allow for categorisation, filtering and ordering. Allows staff to sort, filter and search lists of files to quickly find documents and information of relevance. Promotes work-focused social interaction among staff. Adopts techniques to collate and surface documents and information which are most valuable to staff (e.g. latest and most accessed content). Alerts staff when new information of potential relevance to them is added to the site
