Jenoptik, supplier of components for the Patriot integrated air and missile defence system, has been awarded an additional $13.8m contract for the delivery of electrical generators, spare parts packages and test equipment. Jenoptik develops and produces the power supply units and associated sub-systems for Patriot in Germany at its Altenstadt site in Bavaria.
