A seafood supplier previously based at Birmingham’s Wholesale Markets has secured a new premises in the city ahead of the site being cleared to make way for the £500m Smithfield development.Sea Products International has purchased a 4,037 sq ft office in Ravenhurst Street, in a move prompted by the impending closure of its current home at Birmingham’s Wholesale Markets.The company distributes frozen seafood such as king prawns and exotic and locally sourced shellfish and fish fillets to the wholesale, hotel, restaurant and manufacturing sectors across the UK and Ireland. It currently employs 23 staff.
