The current contract for Refuse and waste related services in Swords is projected to end on 21/4/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Refuse and waste related services in Swords included the provision of a Management Service in respect of the colour segregated glass bottle banks in the Dublin Region.The framework agreement will primarily concern the collection, processing and marketing of household glass packaging in the Dublin Region, initially from 154 bring banks. It is emphasised, however, that the management service may be sought in respect of all bring banks in the Dublin Region under this framework agreement. This may amount to an additional 110 bring banks. The successful framework operator will also assume responsibility for the cleaning and maintenance of each site in Fingal County Council, South Dublin County Council and Dublin City Council, not Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. A list of the bring banks in the Dublin region is contained at Appendix B of this document. It is the right of the Dublin.Local Authorities to engage services where they see fit for the collection from bottle banks.
