A high-tech firm will be allowed to consolidate its operations at its site in Towcester, follow planning permission granted by South Northamptonshire Council. On Thursday, 22 September 2016, members for SNC’s development control committee approved an application by Abaco Systems Ltd to extend the existing production unit, and add more parking to their site off Old Tiffield Road. Abaco’s sister company, Foundations Technology Ltd, is currently based in Milton Keynes and employs 86 people making computer components. For business efficiency the two firms wish to operate from the same site in Towcester.
