The redevelopment of Wolverhampton’s former Royal Hospital site into new homes has taken a step forward with the submission of a planning application. The project to transform the bus depot element of the site into 146 new properties is led by the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA), which acquired the 12.5-acre plot earlier this year. Its aim is to create a high profile” gateway to the city and, if approved, demolition work could begin early next year.
