Plans for a new pub in Cheadle have been approved.A planning application for the conversion of a former bakery at 21 High Street has been approved by planners at Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.The plan involves the conversion of the building to a public house along with the demolition of an existing rear brick and asbestos outbuilding and the creation of a rear terrace and beer garden.The upper floors are set to be converted into private living accommodation. The report states that there is ample town centre parking for staff and customers, with access to the main car park off Tape Street to the rear of the property. In addition, there are good public transport links and walking opportunities benefiting the town centre location.
