Planning approval has been given to Euro Garages for the development of a new petrol filling station and convenience store on green belt land, on Wrexham Road to the north of Chester and in close proximity to Chester Business Park.Cheshire West and Chester Council granted permission for the development, which follows the refusal of two previous applications and an unsuccessful planning appeal by the previous owner. Following negotiations with the council, it accepted that the Euro Garages proposals would create a high quality design, which would not impact on the surrounding green belt. Construction work is due to start shortly.
