The current contract for Research consultancy services in Gatwick is projected to end on 4.3.2017 and may be available for re-tender.The UK Civil Aviation Authority (the CAA) shall establish a qualified product list for fire fighting foam (with two qualifying criteria – fire fighting performance and environmental impact).The CAA shall establish a separate Framework Agreement with a Contractor to assess the impact of the finished foam on the environment. In particular, the Contractor shall assess the declared constituents and rate them using provided guidelines. Under the Contract, the Contractor must also have the ability to test for fluorine compounds in test samples.
