Oldham-based Grasscroft Property has secured two North West deals which have the potential to transform prime green field sites into housing and commercial developments.The developer has signed and exchanged contracts on a 60-acre site, currently in the green belt, on the border of Sale and Stretford, situated just off the M60. Its vision for the site is to develop a “high quality” employment park, promoted through the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework for commercial development.Grasscroft Property has also acquired four-acres of land in Aston, near Northwich, with the aim of creating 45 to 50 residential units to the Cheshire East Area. The business will be submitting a planning application for the residential project later this year.In addition, outside of the North West, the property business has also exchanged contracts in Sturminster Marshall in Dorset, acquiring 25-acres of green belt land as part of a local plan review of housing numbers. It is working with a team which includes How Planning, TPM Landscape, BWB Engineers and Croft Transport Solutions.
