Plans for a new £7m housing development in the Surrey town of Caterham have taken a step forward.Tandridge District Council, in partnership with Circle Housing, has successfully completed negotiations on the redevelopment of 1-20 Ninehams Gardens.Work can now start to build 35 homes, which will be a mixture of affordable rent and shared ownership houses and flats. Protective hoarding will shortly go up as demolition work starts, before the new development begins.The new homes will be owned and managed by Circle Housing Mole Valley, but a legal agreement is in place to ensure the new rented homes will be available to people on Tandridge District Council’s housing register.The scheme will be completed in early 2018.
