UKRAINE’S NEW HOMEMADE CRUISE MISSILE PACKS A ONE-TON WARHEAD

Description

Ukraine has unveiled a new FP-5 cruise missile, nicknamed ‘Flamingo,’ and its manufacturer claims it can strike 1,800 miles into Russia. This would allow Ukraine to hit targets deep inside of Russia like military facilities and oil and gas industries, which help fund its war. Kyiv’s new missile has a 20-foot wing span and can carry a one-ton warhead. For comparison, the U.S.-made Tomahawk cruise missile has a wing span of under 9 feet. WSJ breaks down what we know about the new weapon and how it could be used against Moscow.
