The current contract for Software package and information systems in Dublin is projected to end on 20/12/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Software package and information systems in Dublin included has various ICT systems in service throughout Ireland, on Naval Service vessels and overseas peacekeeping missions. The Defence Forces now requires a single software reseller to supply all of its standard software requirements and assist in managing its licensing infrastructure. A framework contract with the successful bidder will be put in place for 2 years with the option of extending for a further year. Due to ongoing projects such as Information Knowledge Management, Geographical Information Systems and Virtualised desktop the proposal must be comprehensive enough to cover all future software requirements.
