Plans are set to be considered to invest a further £2m of public money into the long-awaited Southern Cross Valley Link in Mountain Ash.Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council has already invested almost £2.3m in the scheme but the additional investment of £2m will support the next phase of work, including land acquisition requirements.The local authority’s cabinet is will consider the report at a meeting on 24 November 2016 and, subject to approval, the report will then be considered by full council at a subsequent meeting.
