The Authority has a potential requirement for the repair/overhaul of CRARRV Air Conditioning Evaporator and CRARRV Main Winch Capstan Pump on the CRARRV vehicle fleet currently in service in the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD). The requirement is spit into the following TWO Categories, Lots:Lot 1: CRARRV air conditioning evaporator Assembly FV2094700 forecasted total quantity of 28 over four years at seven per annum.Lot 2: CRARRV Main winch capstan pumps comprising FV 2197744 NSN 4320995122864, FV 2197745 NSN 4320995006513 FV 2148888 NSN 4320998399318 Forecasted total quantity of 28 over four years at seven per annum. To incorporate Modification instruction 127 supplied by the authority.Due to the fact that the assemblies in Lot 1 and 2 are fitted as part of a major planned overhaul of the main equipment it is imperative that the maximum permitted turnaround times for each assembly is Six weeks from date of order to include both collection and delivery to DSG Bovington.The successful Contractor(s) will be required to recondition to original build standard and performance incorporating authorised modifications in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacture specification with an accompanying Certificate of Conformance detailing results of output tests.The successful Contractor(s) will need to be able to supply, as necessary, certain major components, in addition to the overhaul process, where found to be missing or unserviceable due to the nature of usage by the MoD Customer.Successful Contractor(s) will be expected to arrange for suitable packaging to protect the assemblies in transit during collection and delivery of articles from/to DSG Bovington (the Authority).The Authority may wish to conduct a pre-qualification exercise to assist in the down selection of prospective Tenderers. The Authority’s pre-qualification criteria will be used to evaluate the company’s level of competence, experience and resources and will be used to limit the number of companies taken forward to Invitation to Tender to no more than 6.
