Kingdom Housing Association, together with Robertson Partnership Homes, has announced its intention to apply for planning permission in the coming weeks for an affordable housing development at Banklands in Newburgh.The proposal is for 40 homes for affordable rent, built on a greenfield site on the southern edge of the town.In the run-up to lodging the planning application with Fife Council, the Association is carrying out a public consultation exercise locally. It has already met with Newburgh Community Council to discuss the proposals, and will hold a public drop-in event at the Tayside Institute on Monday 21st November, from 3.30pm to 7.30pm, to which all neighbours and other interested parties are invited.
