Housebuilder Avant Homes has revealed plans for new developments in Stamford Bridge and Apperley Bridge with a combined value of £65m.The new homes developer has purchased a 16-acre site in Stamford Bridge, near York, where it will start work on the construction of 120 homes this month.Works on a 9.8-acre development in Apperley Bridge, West Yorkshire, have already begun less than two years after the launch of Avant Homes’ first site in the village.The £34m development in Stamford Bridge is located off Roman Road and will comprise a collection of three, four and five-bedroom town houses, semi-detached and detached homes. The first homes are expected to be ready for occupation by the end of May 2017.The purchase of a second site in Apperley Bridge comes just 18 months after the launch of the housebuilder’s redevelopment of the former Stylo shoe factory site on Harrogate Road.The £31m development, called West Wood Fields, and also on Harrogate Road, will provide 105 new homes.Site clearance and ground remodelling works are in progress at both sites with construction of the first plots expected to commence this month. Both developments will create a significant number of construction and sales jobs with the build programme estimated to take approximately three years.Based in Wakefield, Avant Homes Yorkshire is an operating company of the Avant Homes group.
