The current contract for Pharmacy services in Manchester is projected to end on 20/5/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Pharmacy services in Manchester included to develop an ongoing partnership with one or more third party providers to deliver 5 components of the overall pharmacy service, which are currently provided by the internal pharmacy team.1. Outpatient dispensing services (initially off site with short turnaround times, potential for on site placement);2. Pharmacy stores, stock control and medicine procurement;3. Ward stores stock top up and control;4. Oral homecare not currently under contract; and5. Inpatient dispensing services including discharge prescriptions.Please note implementation of the inpatient dispensing services element is subject to the successful implementation of items 1 to 4 to the satisfaction of the Christie.
