Royal Bank of Scotland has provided funding to support the refurbishment of a Newton Abbot care home following its recent acquisition.Jon and Jules Lobb acquired the Somerforde care home earlier this year. The new owners will now use the funding from the bank to undertake a refurbishment programme.Seller Nicky Witham will remain as a care home manager for six months while they recruit a suitable candidate.The 22-bedroom elderly care home and is supported by 21 staff ranging from a care home manager, care staff, kitchen staff and domestic cleaners.
