Planning consent has been granted for design and build warehouse units at in Featherstone.The development located in Onward Business Park aims to showcase business opportunities for logistics and manufacturing companies to start or expand supply chains.Onward Holdings has secured planning permission for either warehousing or industrial units ranging from 2,500 to 20,000 sq ft, which will provide opportunities for companies’ wishing to design their own space to suit individual business requirements.This latest development by Onward Holdings at Green Lane Industrial Estate, Featherstone, will adjoin the fully let phase One. It offers warehousing, office space and industrial applications with scope for a service area for trucks.Established in 1930, family-run business Onward Holdings specialises in operating industrial warehousing and retail parks in the North of England. Its other warehousing sites include: Castleford, Doncaster, Ackworth and Scunthorpe as well as Onyx Retail Park at Wath upon Dearne. Promotion of Onward Holdings’ sites is being undertaken by Andrew Miller Chartered Surveyors of Sheffield.
