Somerset-based care home operator Camelot Care has acquired its fourth facility in a deal brokered by Christie & Co.The company has bought Acacia Nursing Home in Yeovil from a guide price of £1.95m.The home, which was previously known as Hendford Nursing Home, was formerly owned by Aurora Care and operated by Caspia Care. It opened in 2010 and is registered to provide care for 41 residents, all in single rooms with ensuite wet rooms. There is also planning permission in place to add up to 40 extra bedrooms on land within the grounds of the property as well as a currently unused building which could provide ancillary space and additional accommodation for staff.
