Southern Housing Group has signed agreements for two new residential schemes in the borough of Runnymede, Surrey.The housing association will work with Bugler Developments Ltd to deliver a mix of 34 flats and houses for shared ownership and two starter homes after acquiring a site as part of the redevelopment plans for the former Brunel University. Student accommodation, private sale and extra care homes will be constructed on the rest of the site, which will complete in 2017.Southern Housing Group has also agreed to purchase 37 properties – a combination of flats, houses and bungalows, including 10 homes for shared ownership and 27 for affordable rent – from Crest Nicholson in Longcross near Virginia Water. The former film studio is being redeveloped to create 200 new homes and a new business park, which will be completed in 2021.
