4. Description: The Awarding Authority requires the provision of waste management services at the specified location including operational and landside areas. The services required include but are not limited to:
Provision and servicing of waste and recycling receptacles
Disinfecting food waste receptacles;
Mechanical and hand sweeping throughout the Port;
Litter clearance throughout the Port;
Ground maintenance works including grass and hedge cutting, strimming and weed control/clearance throughout the Port;
Emergency response in the event of flood or adverse weather event;
Snow clearance and gritting of service roads, car-parks, cycle routes and pavements;
Draining and de-silting of oil interceptors and septic tanks; and
Associated waste management services as and when requested by the Purchaser.
The contractor will be required to supply a full range of vehicles to undertake the services.
The contract commencement date is 1st February 2026 for a three year term.
This Tender process is subject to the Procurement Act 2023 Regulations and therefore suppliers (and their sub-contractors if applicable) will need to be registered on the Central Digital Platform.
