Total quantity or scope of tender
The design and construction of a new skatepark adjacent to the Leisure Centre. The site is to be cleared which will include the demolition of the existing elements.
Requirement: The Contractor is to provide the Works and will need to plan, manage, and implement the following core activities as a minimum:-
Act as Principal Contractor in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2015
Full Project and Design Management
Full design of all elements of the project from the detailed planning details inclusive of but not restricted to:-
Detailed Site Investigations
Foundation Designs
Full Architectural Design
Full Structural Designs
Full Civil and Drainage Engineering
Mechanical & Electrical Design
Fire Engineering Design
Management of Employer’s design approval requirements
Full Construction Site Management
Safe site set-up, access equipment and materials distribution
On site welfare facilities and fencing
Siteworks
Mechanical & Electrical Installations including testing and commissioning
Site furniture
Full Management of Health and Safety File and Building Documents
Practical completion
Snagging and defects period
Safe access and egress to align with proposed new/existing roads
Other activities not specifically listed which a Competent and Experienced Contractor would be aware of in such a work stream.
Works shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the Employer’s Requirements and the Contract Documents, current Building Regulations and Statuary Regulation. Information detailed in the Employer’s Requirements is also regarded as specific Employer’s Requirements.
