IFB-CO-15571-TACSAT-Ancillaries and installation for static UHF TACSAT sites
Project objective
NATO has identified a requirement to replace UHF TACSAT radios and associated terminal equipment to support tactical network requirements.
The required capability is intended to be acquired through three different contracts, work packages (WP), as defined below. This notification of intent (NOI) is only for WP2.
WP1 will facilitate new generation UHF TACSAT radios and ancillary equipment forOn-The-Pause (OTP), On-The-Move (OTM) and Deployable Headquarters operation. This is out of the scope of this NOI.
WP2, subject of this NOI, will cover design, procurement, installation and testing ofthe static site equipment such as static antenna, matrix and ancillaries for NATOstatic sites.
WP3 will facilitate data transmission solution. This is out of the scope of this NOI.
The successful bidder will be required to handle and store classified information up to the levelof NATO SECRET. In addition, contractor personnel will be required to work unescorted inClass II Security areas. Therefore, access can only be permitted to cleared individuals. Onlycompanies maintaining such cleared facilities and the appropriate personnel clearances will beable to perform the resulting contract.
