4. Description: DCLC’s English language training courses are delivered in part by permanent civil servant tutors. This in-house capability is augmented, when required, by contractor tutors. Appendix 1 provides an illustrative list of ELT language courses delivered within a training year (Apr – Mar) at DCLC. Language proficiency levels are expressed using a Standardised Language Profile (SLP) which reflects the four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
