Babcock Land Defence Limited, Acting as Agent on behalf of the UK MOD, intends to initiate a Restricted Competitive procurement for the repair of Engines, Engine Groups and Power Packs fitted to Bulldog, Viking, Beach Recovery Vehicle, AS90, Pinzguaer, Jackel, Panther, Land Rover, Quad Bike.
The Authority reserves the right to include additional platforms within the scope of the requirement during the initial planning stages prior to issuing the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
The requirement will be lotted into platforms and it is the intention to award a framework agreement to the successful Tenderer for each lot based upon the Tender responses. This Notice is simply to advise industry of the intention to advertise a competition. This notice should not be considered as a request for expressions of interest at this stage.
The Authority will provide technical information as part of the Tender activity where available, although it is understood that technical information will be unavailable for many of the platforms within the competition.
The contract is anticipated to be a 4 year contract with 3 further 12 month option years being included to extend the contract at the Authority discretion to a maximum of 7 years.
In issuing this PIN, Babcock Land Defence Limited, Acting as Agent on behalf of the UK MOD, are not committing to conduct any procurement activity.
