Plans for a development of eco homes on the site of The New Lawn stadium in Gloucestershire are set to go before the general public.The ground is currently home to National League side Forest Green Rovers. Ecotricity, the club’s owner, plans to develop housing on the site if it is granted consent to move to a new stadium at the proposed Eco Park scheme beside the M5 at Junction 13.The initial concept design for the Nailsworth site has now gone on display as part of a public consultation process.The proposed Eco Park development would feature 50 acres dedicated to sporting facilities, including a new stadium for Forest Green Rovers, and a further 50 acres for a green technology business park capable of creating up to 4,000 jobs.
