4. Description: The main objective of this consultancy is to identify and prepare guidelines for Nature-based Solutions (NbS) integration in Black Sea countries. The consultant will explore the integration of NbS to decrease pollution, improve livelihoods and improve ecosystems. The guidelines will assist the national, regional and local governments to make decision on selecting NbS options for wastewater treatment and NbS management. Once the guideline is established, this can be a communication tool for different stakeholders such as government officials, engineers, NGOs and private sectors to gain more understanding on NbS development and operations as well as providing a capacity-building for NbS management. This activity will serve as an addition to the BBSEA program.
