Babcock has announced Babcock Korea Ltd has gained ISO 9001: 2015 certification, a globally recognised standard that ensures its products and services meet the needs of customers and stakeholders.

As well as ISO 9001, the company received ISO 14001: 2015 (effective environmental management system) and ISO 45001: 2018 (occupational health and safety management best practice). The ISO accreditations highlight Babcock is continuing its commitment to manufacturing a high standard of quality products, while reducing our environmental impact and improving workplace safety.

Receiving ISO accolades is a major milestone on Babcock’s journey, as the team continue to drive forward and grow a vibrant business in Korea.

Achieving ISO certifications was a real team effort, as it required Babcock teams in the UK and Korea working together around the clock during the extensive company-wide audit last month.

Clinton Bixter, Vice President (Director) – Babcock Korea, said:  “We are extremely proud to receive the ISO accreditation, going forward this will allow us to develop our business and customer base and confirms the high standard we operate to.

“My sincere thanks to the team, for their drive, determination to achieve this fantastic milestone.”
