Description: The World Banks Social Sustainability and Inclusion, and Governance Global Practices are implementing a project to improve access to justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people in Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. This will be achieved by i) increasing knowledge and awareness of SOGI issues among public servants in the justice sector to help change their attitudes and behaviors, and increase dialogue with the LGBTI community, and ii) improving the availability of SOGI disaggregated data on discrimination and violence by, building the capacity of staff in national statistics offices (NSOs) and other government institutions to generate such data. Specifically, the World Bank is inviting eligible firms (or a consortium of firms) to express their interest in: 1. Designing and piloting a training curriculum for public servants in the justice sector to increase their knowledge and awareness of SOGI issues, change their attitudes and behaviors, increase dialogue with the LGBTI community, and enable them to appropriately address the needs of LGBTI victims of discrimination or violence seeking justice. 2. Designing and piloting a training curriculum for staff in NSOs and other relevant institutions to strengthen their capacity and knowledge about SOGI data generation.
