4. Description: The Awarding Authority seeks an independent technical advisor to assist the Department in surveying existing properties and other properties as deemed necessary in specified location. The independent technical advisor will be required to provide advice and input into the property strategy to develop a modern fit for purpose building. The service will require travel to London to survey properties.
The independent technical advisor will be a suitable individual qualified in a relevant building / construction discipline (Engineering, Architectural degree etc.) who will have experience of working in the London property market and experience working with Government and /or Public Bodies. Professionals with experience and expertise in heritage and listed building are preferred.
