The current contract for Construction consultancy services in Belfast is projected to end on 20/3/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Construction consultancy services in Belfast included to procure suitably qualified and competent consultants to provide professional services in relation to Major Adaptation Works to dwellings for Persons with Disability (surveying through to completion of Works, including defects period) throughout Northern Ireland. The Service Provider is required to provide all professional services including those relating to surveying, planning, design, costing, procurement, CDM health and safety, site waste management, design and management co-ordination and contract administration/project management and defect resolution. The Service is to properties in the Employer’s ownership, which may or may not be occupied. The Northern Ireland Housing Executive intends to award five Lot Contracts, to a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5 Economic Operators, for the provision of the services and associated works. The Lot Contracts will be for a period of 1 year from the date of commencement with an option, at the discretion of the Housing Executive, to extend each Lot Contract for one further period of 12 months or part thereof. i.e. a maximum of 2 years. A Tenderer may be awarded 1 , some or all of the Lot Contracts. The successful Tenderer(s) appointed to provide Services will enter into a NEC3 Contract (see Schedule 3 ‘Form of Lot Contract’ of the ITT for more details) for each Lot with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
