The complex problem set faced by the Royal Navy in the modern operating environment calls for a closer alignment with industry. This is required in order to both understand mutual requirements and to pursue transformative capability that will deliver operational advantage in a more agile way.

The Royal Navy will be hosting the third Maritime Enterprise Planning Group on Wednesday 3 February 2021 at 1pm to discuss Digital and IT.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be virtual and hosted on Zoom. Therefore, discussion will be limited to OFFICIAL. The intent for subsequent events and ongoing engagement will be to these host them face-to-face to facilitate discussion at a higher classification. MOD reserves the right to down-select delegates’ participation at future events.
Whilst these MEPGs are primarily focused on solving technical problems, technical expertise from Industry is invited to register their attendance.

To register your attendance please email NAVYCOMRCL-MEPG@mod.gov.uk and include ‘MEPG Digital’ in the title of your email.

Please also only use a business email address to register as, by providing it, you’ll agree to allow MOD its use for the specific purposes of developing the MEPG forum and to further their collaborative approach.
Please do not contact individual RN personnel directly about the MEPG events.

NB – due to the need to send out joining information ahead of time, registration emails must be received by 10am on Friday 29 January 2021 with invitations being sent out by 1 February 2021.

However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The MEPG groups are a Request for Information only. Nothing in this notice, the MEPG sessions, or any other engagements with Industry prior to a formal procurement process, shall be construed as a representation as to the Authority’s ultimate decision in relation to future requirements.
