A business centre in Great Haywood is set to be knocked down and replaced with 10 apartments, despite concerns the village will lose an employment site.Elms Properties Ltd was granted permission to build four one-bedroom apartments and six two-bedroom apartments at Elms Business Centre, Main Road, at a Stafford Borough Council planning committee meeting on Wednesday.Borough councillor Alan Perkins called in the application for the committee to consider issues including the change of use from business park to residential area, highway access and public safety.
