The current contract for Rehabilitation hospital services in Derby is projected to end on 28/2/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Rehabilitation hospital services in Derby included for the provision of Inpatient Rehabilitation Services for Mental Health and Learning Disabilities (including Autism and Personality Disorder specialist inpatient rehabilitation).This is a re-advertisement of these Services from 2013 OJEU ref 2013/S 048-078279. Organisations who are current providers do not need to apply, except where they wish to be considered for other Lots.These services are termed ‘locked and unlocked’ The difference in ‘locked and unlocked’ is defined within the environmental design, whereby patients who do not require a locked environment require less supervision and continue to receive therapies available to patients who reside within a locked environment. The aim of these services through rehabilitation is to demonstrate improvements in symptoms, social inclusion and development of independent living skills.The service is expected to move patients towards independent community living (with support packages) or community residential or nursing provision.
