The current contract for Lubricating oils and lubricating agents in Leicester is projected to end on 21/2/2017 and may be available for re-tender.The current contract for Lubricating oils and lubricating agents in Leicester included the supply and direct deliveryto end-user establishments of a wide range lubricating oils (including engine oils, transmission and gear oils,agricultural and static lubricants, hydraulic oil and compressor oil) and greases, antifreeze and other ancillary products. It is envisaged that a single supplier will be appointed to cover the whole of the UK (lot 1), although additional suppliers may be appointed to cover individual regions, these being the 9 regions of England (lots 2-10) plus Scotland (lot 11), Wales (lot 12) and Northern Ireland (Lot 13). The targeted framework commence date is 1.2.2015. Whilst initially for use by local authorities served by ESPO (see www.espo.org for further details), being a Central Purchasing Body as defined by the EU Combined Procurement Directive 2004/18/EC, the Framework Agreement may also be open for use by the following classifications of user throughout all administrative regions of the UK: Local Authority Councils; Educational Establishments (including Academies); Central Government Departments and their Agencies; Police, Fire & Rescue and Coastguard Emergency Services; NHS and HSC Bodies, including Ambulance Services; Registered Charities; Registered Social Landlords;Full details of the classification of end user establishments and geographical areas is available on: An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.
