Stoke’s WaterWorld, which attracts 400,000 visitors to the region each year, has revealed plans to build a trampoline park and fitness club as part of a multimillion-pound investment drive that will create 100 jobs and transform the business into an “urban leisure resort”.WaterWorld is led by Mo Chaudry, who has invested £7m in the facility since acquiring it in 1999.The latest expansion plan includes the proposed construction of a 25,000 sq ft trampoline park at the Marina Wat site, which will also offer trampolining classes.A 34,000 sq ft M Club Spa and Fitness will also be built to complement the existing facility in Parklands. It will comprise a gym, swimming pool, plunge pool and an indoor interval training track.The investment plan, which will span two years, includes the addition of “considerably bigger rides” at WaterWorld. It follows the addition of 10,000 sq ft of leisure space and a poolside dining area, which was completed earlier this month (August 2016).
