Saab has received a potential two-year $218m contract from Sweden’s Defence Materiel Administration to provide continued maintenance and support services for the country’s Gripen C/D multirole fighter aircraft. The company will maintain components, procure equipment, manage obsolescence, maintain spare parts, support technical systems and provide logistics services for the aircraft fleet. Work will take place at various facilities in Sweden through to December 2019.
