II.1) Scope of the procurement

II.1.4) Short Description: The Authority intends to set up a framework agreement with a number of providers for the provision of up to 6 pharmacy technician student placements per year.
These placements shall last for a 2-year period and shall lead to the award of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) recognised qualification of Level 3 Diploma (National Vocational Qualification) in Pharmacy Services Skills (Competence). This shall result in the student’s registration with the GPhC.
This training shall incorporate a GPhC recognised course of underpinning knowledge such as the BTEC National Diploma Pharmaceutical Science (Knowledge) or Level 3 Diploma Pharmaceutical Science (Knowledge) and shall be undertaken through day or block release at college.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement:

Bidders should take part in this process only on the basis that they fully understand and accept this position.
