A business unit of BAE Systems has won a potential $12.8m contract to help the US Air Force develop a knowledge-based space testbed architecture. BAE’s information and electronic systems integration business will create a testbed for the military branch to evaluate space enterprise command and control tools and technologies. The Air Force Research Laboratory will obligate $2.5m in fiscal 2016 and 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
