Read: Babcock DSG Limited, acting as agents for the UK Ministry of Defence, seeks to negotiate a single source Framework Agreement for a period of 4 years for the Supply of Camouflage Face Paint with BCB International Ltd. This item is codified to Nato Stock Number 6850-99-8862850, and is manufactured to comply with MOD specification number UK/SC/5772 Issue 6. Estimated contract value will be #1,568,000.
It is considered that this requirement can be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Article 32(2)(a) of Directive 2014/24/EU (Regulation 32(2)(a) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) due to the UK Ministry of Defence receiving only one suitable request to participate in response to a Contract Notice, reference 2016/S 244-445116. In response to such Contract Notice, the UK Ministry of Defence received three requests to participate; however, in accordance with the applicable selection criteria, only one of these requests to participate was deemed to be suitable.
