With only two and a half weeks remaining until the UK’s premier defence procurement event, DPRTE 2026 has announced a high-impact session featuring Matt Eagle, Fixed Wing Senior Supply Chain Manager at Boeing Defence UK (BDUK).

Taking place on 25-26 March at Farnborough International, the event serves as a critical junction for the UK defence industry. Matt Eagle’s session, hosted in the Supply Chain & Market Engagement Zone, is set to be a cornerstone for businesses looking to integrate into the supply chains of global Tier 1 primes.

Matt will present BDUK’s essential ‘How to do Business with Boeing’ framework. This session is designed to de-mystify the process of working with a prime contractor, offering a rare, transparent look at the requirements, expectations, and pathways for suppliers aiming to support some of the UK’s most significant aviation programmes.

As the Senior Manager for Fixed Wing Supply Chain Management, Matt oversees six teams across the UK. His remit includes delivering critical capability – spanning Asset Management, Supplier Management, and Warehousing – for the P-8A Poseidon, E-7 Wedgetail, and C-17 Globemaster fleets. His leadership was instrumental in the construction of the new E-7 facility at RAF Lossiemouth and the expansion of the BDUK Fixed Wing supply chain team.

A key highlight for many attendees will be Matt’s insights into JOSCAR. Having been responsible for implementing JOSCAR at BDUK and sitting on the JOSCAR Governance Group, Matt is uniquely positioned to explain how compliance and pre-qualification platforms are evolving to streamline MOD-industry collaboration.

With 13 years of experience across platforms including Apache AH-64E and Chinook CH-47, Matt brings a wealth of procurement intelligence. As an MCIPS professional and Boeing Leadership NeXt Alumnus, his session represents the “working with primes” perspective that is essential for SMEs navigating the current Strategic Defence Review landscape.

Organisers have hinted that this is just the beginning of a final wave of announcements. The next few days will see the reveal of several more major headline speakers from the Ministry of Defence and international partners, further cementing DPRTE 2026 as the most important strategic forum of the year.

Delegate places are filling rapidly. Businesses are encouraged to secure their attendance now to ensure they don’t miss this opportunity to connect directly with Boeing and other industry leaders.
